About My Jewelry

My jewelry is a collaboration of wire wrapping, beading, polymer clay, and macrame. You will also see other beautiful and unique items on my website offered by other artists at reasonable prices.

Like many people I have always wanted to work from home away from the busy city. I live in a small town 60 miles southeast of Dallas TX that I enjoy very much. We have a beautiful garden in the back from which I get my ideas and inspiration.

One day while searching the internet for a work-at-home opportunity I came across a wire wrapping CD by Preston Reuther. I previewed it from his website. The collections on his website were absolutely gorgeous so I ordered the CD and have never looked back. I bought several more wire wrapping CDs from him and from other “masters of the art” each with their own unique technique.

I started learning all I could about every aspect of jewelry making and in the process came across books and videos (some free, some not) on beading, polymer clay and wire jewelry etc. My next endeavor is to learn about kumihimo braiding, glass bead making, silversmithing etc. I like to combine different materials and techniques. The possibilities are endless!

Jewelry making is the perfect outlet for my creative side. I am enjoying myself thoroughly! Producing jewelry is so rewarding! After 3+ years of selling my beaded jewelry I learned about macrame and found it very relaxing.
