Macrame Chokers

Macrame chokers are made of many different types of cording such as hemp, nylon, rayon, silk, waxed linen, and satin. Basically anything that can be manipulated without breaking, fraying, or splitting can be used.

Knotted jewelry, in general, can be casual, dressy, or elegant depending on which cording and beads are used. For casual you may use hemp with wooden beads. For dressy you could use nylon with glass beads. For elegant silk or satin could be used with crystal or more expensive beads.

The red choker was made with satin cord to match the red floral glass tube bead focal. The sage green choker was made with nylon cord and polymer clay beads which were made from bought polymer canes sliced, assembled, baked then glazed by me. I will be adding more chokers soon!!
